I travel often but find it difficult to keep up with everyone’s whereabouts around the world. This pain point led me to build Find My Amigos in my spare time while traveling through Asia. The app collects the public geolocation data of posts from your network on Instagram and plots them all on a map – letting you easily keep tabs on everyone’s whereabouts.

Keeping up with friends or acquaintances offline continues to get more difficult as my personal network continues to grow. The issue is exacerbated as I tend to be more connected on Instagram than on other social networks. Until now, there hasn’t been an easy option to search or view one’s Instagram contacts on by location!
